Aleksander Jaki MRCVS (clinical director)

Aleks graduated from University of Warsaw in Poland in 2005. After spending some time in large animal practice in Shropshire, Aleks moved to South Yorkshire where in 2016 he and his partner Ewa became the owners of Green Veterinary Practice Ltd; Ewa running the small animal practice and Aleks the large animal. Aleks has a particular interest in equine dentistry as well as being offered tea and cake when he is out on visits! 
Outside of work Aleks enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and live music.

Henry Hoare BVM&S MRCVS

Henry has worked for Greens for a number of years and will be a familiar face to many of our clients. Henry graduated from University of Edinburgh before a brief stint working for University of Nottingham and eventually an anaesthesia residency at University of Dublin. Now working in equine first opinion, Henry is interested emergency care. 
When Henry isn't working he has a passion for climbing, carpentry and walking his dogs.

Hannah Peel VetMB MA CertAVP(EM) MRCVS

Hannah grew up in Sheffield but graduated from University of Cambridge in 2007 before going on to certify as an advanced veterinary practitioner in equine medicine. Hannah's clinical interests include medicine, lameness and soft tissue surgery.
Aside from her veterinary career, Hannah is a keen triathlete and Ironman competitor and loves spending time with her family.

Jennifer Harper BVM&S BSc MRCVS

Jennifer graduated from Edinburgh University and subsequently worked in an equine practice in Durham for several years before joining our team in 2016. She enjoys the work of an ambulatory vet and the varied caseload, as well as the abiltiy to work up some of the more complicated cases in our clinic at Lightwood. Jen's hobbies included walking and bouldering in the Peak District with her family and two spaniels Oscar and Plato. She also enjoys drawing, painting and playing violin in a local orchestra. Jennifer rides and competes her own horses in showing and dressage as well as hacking and jumping at home for fun.

Luke Rose BVSc MRCVS

Luke graduated from University of Liverpool in 2021, after which he joined our team at Green Vets. Luke enjoys all aspects of equine clinical work but has a particular interest in imaging, ophthalmology and dentistry. 
When Luke is not working he is a keen runner, cyclist and gardener. Luke enjoys spending time walking in the Peak District with his two dogs, Ringo & Olive (who some of you may have met!).

Madeline Smith BVetMed MRCVS

Maddie graduated from Royal Veterinary College and started working at Greens for both small and large animal. Maddie grew up in Sheffield and has a horse of her own named Cherry. Maddie has an interest in all areas of clinical practice.
Outside of work Maddie enjoys riding on the moors, walking/trekking with her trusty companion Reg & baking.
